About Our Caregivers

For our efforts to be successful, it is important to match our caregiver(s) to the client. Our caregiver needs to have the right skill set and a personality suited for the client.  We know our caregivers; their qualifications, their availability, and their proximity to the client.  We also know their personal areas of expertise such as whether they are well suited for an Alzheimer’s client or have hospice experience.


We look for seasoned, compassionate caregivers with a solid track record. They must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in client care.

At Senior Solutions of RichmondSM we recognize that our caregivers are our most precious resource. They are selected using our exclusive Caregiver Recruitment ProcessSM, which includes:

  • Phone screening
  • In-person interview and testing
  • Employment reference checks
  • Criminal history screening conducted on all caregivers before working with a client and then again annually
  • Verifying valid driver's license, auto insurance and car ownership
  • Periodic drug screenings
  • Identification of desired work hours and geographic locations
