Our Services

Getting Started

video

Quality care begins with careful planning - when time permits.  Sometimes an urgent need exists.  We can speed up the process, often providing same day service. Even if you aren't sure that home care is the right solution, let us help.  With ten years in business serving the Greater Richmond senior community, we can connect you to a wealth of reputable resources.

Our typical process begins with a discussion:

  • Initial phone call about your needs with a Social Worker, RN or one of the owners.
  • Complimentary assessment at your home or hospital location to develop a Personalized Care Plan and determine a  schedule.  Care is available from just a few hours to 24 hours a day.
  • Assessor meets with client services team to discuss client's needs and wants.  Careful consideration is given to caregiver selection to ensure the right match.
  • Service begins.
  • Ongoing follow-up through Quality Assurance calls and visits.

Care in Senior Communities

video

We recognize that when you move to a retirement community it becomes your home. That’s why we often assist residents of Independent Living and Assisted Living facilities, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities to provide one-on-one care. Sometimes our services are needed when a resident is recovering from a fall or hospitalization, or if there is a cognitive decline. Care may also be needed when changes in medication are causing confusion, during a UTI or a short term illness. Often when a resident has a terminal illness our services complement the services of the community and the hospice, to provide quality end of life. In these times of transition our services allow you to remain at home in your community.

In instances where the transition to a new home may be especially difficult, Senior Solutions of Richmond? can provide a caregiver to help with the adjustment; introducing the new resident to the community’s routine and activities. When the new resident is acclimated, that means we’ve done our job and our services typically end.

Should it be necessary for a client to temporarily stay at a Rehab facility or to make a permanent move to a Nursing Home or Dementia unit, our services may also be required to provide constant attention and assistance.

Service can be any time of day or night, and can be provided on the same day service is requested.
